Harakoushu, a female doll artist, appeared in the “New Family” newspaper.
Harakoushu appeared in the “New Family” newspaper, which provides the residents in the area along the Sobu railway line and Joban railway line with community-based information for daily life. The dolls of a female doll artist, Harakoushu are introduced in an article titled “Heartwarming ・・・Hina dolls (The dolls for the young girl’s festival) using the technique of kimekomi,” prior to “Hinamatsuri (The doll festival for girls)” that comes soon.

The "New Family" newspaper is a local magazine introducing information for daily life, which is inserted into morning newspapers of the Yomiuri Shimbun and Asahi Shimbun on every Friday. It was first launched in April 1983 and a total of 402,147 copies (as of December 2006) are published with 260,836 copies of Keiyo version, and 141,311 copies of Joban version.

Harakoushu, a female doll artist, appears in a TV program, "Ladies 4," broadcast on TV Tokyo
Harakoushu, a female doll artist, appears in "Ladies 4," a hit program, (16:00-16:55) of TV Tokyo on Thursday, February 15. The theme of the program of that day is “Stroll in Asakusabashi - The doll wholesale store and Okazu Yokocho, a dish alley.” Harakoushu will be broadcast as an only shop with a doll artist in Asakusabashi, the town of dolls.

On the program, the reporter Kyoko Watanabe visits our shop, and talks with Harakoushu lively. Harakoushu herself talks about “the origin of the Harakoushu’s original Hina dolls with faces of babies,” “About the technique of the intangible cultural asset,” and “Pleasure and hardship of the doll-making,” etc. together with the demonstration of the doll-making.

“Ladies 4” of TV Tokyo (Digital TV: 7ch, Analog TV: 12ch) is a program broadcast on every Monday through Friday at 16:00 - 16:55.
It is a popular live broadcasting program among women that is offering various types of information, which is useful for daily lives regardless of the genre. It started in May 1983, and is a completely established long-running information program as the lead program on weekday daytime.

The interview of Harakoushu appeared in the daily newspaper "Fuji Sankei Business i" that was published by the Nihon Kogyo Shimbun Company Limited of the Sankei Newspaper Group.

"Fuji Sankei Business i" is a comprehensive economic newspaper which is published by the Nihon Kogyo Shimbun Company Limited of the Sankei Newspaper Group. The interview of Harakoushu was published in the column of "Shigotobito" of the morning newspaper dated January 15, 2007 of this paper. This interview was conducted at our company the other day, and the attitude and the feelings of Harakoushu for the doll-making are written in details through the eyes of a journalist in this article.

Featured in the first issue of the quarterly magazine “Life Is Art”
The dolls of Harakoushu appeared in the first issue (issued on February 25, 2006) of “Life Is Art,” an artistic life proposal magazine, which is published by Biken International Co., Ltd.

In the feature article titled "Admire the Rinpa School! The Flowering of Japanese Design", Reiji Hiramatsu, a master of Japanese-style painting, talked about the charm of Japanese design, and Hina dolls (Dolls for the Young Girl’s Festival) and Gogatsu dolls (Dolls for the Boy’s Festival) of Harakoushu were published in the page of "Japanese design in our daily life,"
